Biography

Andy Chapman is considered one of America’s most versatile drummers.  His expertise in performing all styles of music is widely respected.  He has toured extensively with numerous ensembles of various types, including rock, jazz, funk, R&B, Latin, country, pop, and symphonic, and has been the select drummer for many celebrities.

Some of the many notable musicians, entertainers, performers, shows, and ensembles that Andy has performed with include  Arturo Sandoval, Gloria Estefan, Gino Vannelli, Tavares, The Miami Pops Orchestra, Florence Henderson, and Dennis Noday and the Stan Kenton Tribute Orchestra.

Andy holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from the University of North Texas (Denton, Texas.)   He is also in great demand as a percussion instructor and clinician.
